: 

The Department of Health and Human Performance at the University of Houston (UH) invites applicants for a non-tenure-track faculty position at the Research Assistant Professor level. Successful candidates will have completed a Ph.D. (or equivalent) degree in Kinesiology, Nutrition, or other related field and have a strong track record of publications in the general area of energetics. Any Ph.D. (or equivalent) graduate that is enthusiastic about improving quality of life by advancing research to address healthy lifestyles through physical activity, nutrition, and other lifestyle behaviors (e.g., sleep) should apply. A preference will be given to applicants who have experience working in community-based projects (e.g., schools, YMCAs) with individuals who are at the highest risk for obesity and its sequalae (e.g., low-income, minority groups).

Qualifications

: 

Successful candidates will have completed a Ph.D. (or equivalent) degree in Kinesiology, Nutrition, or a related field with a focus on Energetics and have productive postdoctoral research experience.
