Research Assistant Professor - Ci3 at the University of Chicago #OBG039

The University of Chicago's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Center for Interdisciplinary Inquiry & Innovation in Sexual and Reproductive Health (Ci3) is searching for a Research Assistant Professor whose primary activity will be academic research in association with a faculty member or team. The appointee will both contribute to research projects in the field of family planning, adolescent reproductive health, and health policy implementation as well as develop their own policy research portfolio, which can be supported by independent funding.  We especially welcome applicants with expertise in qualitative research methods and law and policy analysis, as research in Ci3 is often focused on exploring the implementation and impacts of health policy on access to family planning services and care.

Applicants must have either: 1) a doctoral degree with a focus on health policy or related discipline and have completed postdoctoral training prior to the start of employment or 2) a Juris Doctorate degree or equivalent. Assessment of applications will consider publication record and potential to obtain extramural funding.
