Research Assistant

The Princeton Computational Imaging Lab in the Department of Computer Science explores the frontiers of imaging and computer vision. To develop next-generation imaging and vision systems, the lab conducts interdisciplinary research at the intersection of imaging, computer vision, computer graphics, optics, electrical engineering, applied physics, and robotics.

 

The lab’s core research areas are: computational cameras, computer vision, and computational optics and displays.

 

The lab seeks a highly qualified Research Assistant to support the autonomous car research project, among other research endeavors.

-Discuss project topics and ideas with the supervisor and colleagues. Current work primarily focuses on inverse rendering using generative methods, such as applying diffusion models for gradient-based inversion.

-Create experiments and prototype implementations. Design new learning methods and architectures as well as borrow appropriate open-source libraries.

-Consistently report progress and concrete results. Be updated on new progress in the field. 

-Produce clean, reproducible code that can be useful for open-source as well as other members of the lab. Participate in lab meetings.

 

 

 

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
Research experience
