The Department has over 90 full time faculty and staff, and more than 750 undergraduate and 150 graduate students. Essential Job Duties | The Department of Forestry and Environmental Resources at North Carolina State University invites applicants for a full-time Research Assistant position in the Forest Biotech Group (FBG). The successful candidate is expected to work on one or more of the following research areas:

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience | Relevant post-Baccalaureate degree, or relevant Bachelor’s degree plus 3 or more years of independent research experience, or substantive relevant independent experience and education. May require terminal degree and licensure. |

Preferred Qualifications | Highly motivated, organized, and creative individual with a strong background in one or more of the following areas: forest tree propagation, tissue culture optimization, greenhouse maintenance, tree fertilization, pest control, and/or tree growth and development. |
