Position Overview
Coordinate research subjects and activities related to a multi-institutional intervention study for persons with spinal cord injury. Perform data entry tasks utilizing IRB directed software.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Responsible for recruitment, screening, enrollment, and scheduling of research participants.
2. Coordinate on-site schedules with other members of the research team.
3. Provide oversight to ensure participants attend all training sessions including reminder calls or emails.
4. Collect, save, and record all relevant participant documentation per the research protocol into an electronic portal.
5. Input and monitor site specific study data in an electronic portal for errors and missing data.
6. Attend on-site training and regular conference call meetings with overall Project Manager.
7. Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Bachelor’s degree in Exercise or Health Science related field.
A minimum of 1 year of related experience.
Must be willing to work flexible hours as required.
Must be able to work independently, communicate effectively and sensitively with the public including persons with spinal cord injury (SCI), and ensure compliance with study, safety, and IRB procedures.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Clinical degree such as Physical Therapy or Nursing preferred.
Research and IRB experience.
It would be helpful to be familiar with research logistics.
