Job Duties
We are looking for scientific programmers, preferably with C++, Fortran,
IDL, or Mathematica experience.
  • Task 1 – numerical and analytical modelling.
  • Task 2 – comparison of results with measurements.
  • Students will work in an NSF Cedar Team at LU Physics Department. Undergraduate students who are good in mathematics and programming are welcome.
  • Computations and analytics in a variety of computer programs.
Minimum Qualifications
  • interest in geomagnetic activity phenomena, aurorae etc.;
  • knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Mathematica, LaTex, and Tecplot.
  • Availability: at least 10 hours per week in Spring 2024. GPA>3.0.
