Job Summary
The Center for Vital Longevity at The University of Texas at Dallas seeks a Research Assistant II position in the laboratory of Dr. Michael Rugg. (https://fnim.utdallas.edu/). The position provides support for research projects involving fMRI, EEG, and TMS. Provides support on a wide variety of project assignments including screening and recruitment of human subjects. Provides overall coordination of human subject compensation, including cash disbursement, record keeping and reconciliation of subject payments; liaise with Center administrative team regarding research expenditures and payment of invoices; works with principal investigator to coordinate travel and scheduling of time; contributes to IRB applications and modifications, and liaise as necessary with IRB administration.
Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree; three years related experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Will support research with human participants working as part of a large team; may suggest modifications to or improvements in the design of research projects and present original ideas for follow-up studies and recommend the utilization of new or revised techniques and procedures; may analyze research data and assist in the preparation of material for reports or publication; other duties as required.
