Department Summary
The Department of Family Medicine/ Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine is a multifaceted, interdisciplinary team of dedicated healthcare providers and researchers who are committed to providing excellence in clinical care, primary care education, and research. Through innovative curricular designs, early clinical experiences, and mentorship, the Department is focused on producing highly competent, caring, and compassionate Family Medicine/OMM physicians, helping reduce the shortage of primary care physicians in our Texas communities.
Position Overview
This position will participate in the administration and
monitoring of clinical research projects, analyze and evaluate
clinical data gathered during research. It will ensure
compliance with protocol and overall clinical objectives.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university and 1 year experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of scientific research techniques, methods and procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively with fellow researchers, staff members, faculty, supervisors and students.
  • Academic writing skills

  •  Scheduling 15%
  •  Outreach: distribute marketing materials and obtain contact information 20%
  • Data Entry 5%
  •  Recruitment and screening of participants to meet grant metrics 50%
  • Work with PI to complete aspects of the research project and any other duties as needed 10%
