Research Assistant
Tulane University School of Social Work
Location:  New Orleans, LA
Summary
Tulane School of Social Work is currently looking for a Research Assistant to support scientific social and behavioral research and regulatory coordination in efforts related to a variety of scientific research projects. This position primarily involves study coordination and administrative support for the Principal Investigator. Position may eventually involve conducting targeted literature searches, synthesizing the findings, and editing research for manuscript development, recruiting participants, scheduling interviews, and maintaining contact with participants.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Advanced organizational skills.
• Ability to work well independently and as a team member.
Required Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Education, Social Science, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Education, Social Science, or a related field.
Compensation Information
This position is classified as "exempt, salaried" and is assigned to pay grade 23.
