Essential Functions (Job Duties)
Conduct community based experimental research intervention activities for the WSU Center for Health and Community Impact. Implement research intervention programming and activities for the Center's FAMS initiative.
Conduct research intervention activities with fidelity and compliance to ensure reliability and validity of outcomes and findings. Collect, compile, analyze, and generate data and reports on research intervention efforts and outcomes.
Offer support and assist the PI's and program staff to implement the research intervention in facilities or in individual homes.
Communicate with PI's at Wayne State University to update on progress, troubleshoot barriers and general program management.
Attend bi-weekly research team meetings and have monthly supervision discussions with PI.
Communicate with facilities weekly to check in with all research participants and report back to PI's.
Participate in the development of research and evaluation materials.
Track participants participation in the research and maintain secure data bases of this information.
Host and collect data at research sites.
Coordinate the team in collecting and analyzing data on intervention impact.
 
Unique Duties
 
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in health related field (community health, nutrition, public health) or education
Proficient with mobile, desktop, and communication technologies
Excellent communication skills and professionalism
Ability to work productively and effectively both as a member of a team and individually
Experience working with senior populations desirable
Health communication expertise desirable
Graphic design and social media expertise desirable
 
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree preferred.
