Research Assistant

This full-time research assistant will run cognitive testing sessions supporting Dr. Anne Berry's R01 project "Upregulated norepinephrine synthesis capacity in aging." This research assistant will explain study procedures to participants and will oversee behavioral testing. Additionally, they will analyze and interpret data supporting Dr. Berry's R21 project "Dopaminergic mechanisms of resilience to Alzheimer's disease neuropathology."

Job Description:

  • Performs in-person cognitive testing (computer, pencil and paper, eye-tracking)

  • Behavioral data entry and analysis

  • Study administration (processing subject payment, data backup and data quality assurance)

Job Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in psychology, neuroscience or a related field is required

  • Prior research experience of 1-2 years is preferred

  • Prior experience with behavioral testing in humans is preferred.

  • Ability to work well within a team

  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
