Research Assistant

Brandeis University is seeking to hire a Research Assistant in the Computer Science lab. This position will contribute to an ongoing project on building machine learning (ML)-based solutions to improve performance on database systems. The candidate will be responsible for designing the ML-based decision core and implementing systems-level solutions powered on the ML core. 

This is a term-limitedf position for 7 months until August 2024.

Job Description:

• Literature survey and research [Estimated time: 60%]

• Coding/Development and experimentation [Estimated time: 40%]

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred

• 1-3 years of relevant experience required
