THE OPPORTUNITY
The Research Assistant is responsible for maintaining all documents and records associated with the study, assisting with the operations and administration of all aspects of the study, and communicating with and managing information of all study participants.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Manage administrative and operational tasks associated with conducting a qualitative research study, including but not limited to:

  • Maintaining a CRM-type database of research participants and all the materials associated with them (i.e. video recordings, transcripts, etc.) while maintaining confidentiality of participants;
  • Scheduling participants for interviews with faculty;
  • Maintaining timely communication with research participants;
  • Converting interviews to transcripts by downloading interview recordings, submitting the recordings to a transcription service, ensuring timely completion of transcripts by service, and checking the quality of transcripts by proofreading;
  • Keeping track of project tracks using project management tools;
  • Organizing and maintaining document repositories on Google Drive;
  • Coordinating and following up with research faculty to accomplish project tasks;
  • Coordinating any research related travel for faculty;
  • Assisting with creation of research presentations associated with the study.

Assumes additional responsibilities as required.

WHAT EDUCATION AND SKILLS YOU WILL NEED

Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

Strong organizational skills.

High attention to detail.

Ability to multitask and thrive in a deadline-driven environment.

Ability to maintain confidential information.

Must have project management experience.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Must have strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Suite, and Trello.

HOW AND WHERE YOU WILL WORK

This position may be in-person, remote, or a combination of both.

Hours are flexible but must be available for scheduled weekly meeting.
