The University of Miami is currently seeking a Research Assistant 3 (A) to work at Soffer Clinical Research Center in Miami. The incumbent explores innovations to research and strives to improve implementation and family outcomes. The Research Assistant 3 (A) ensures compliance with University policies, rules, and regulations to meet federal, state, and local standards pertaining to safety and ethics.

CORE JOB FUNCTIONS                                                                                                          

• Plans and implements research experiments, according to research protocols, to assure high-quality scientific results in support of applicable project goals.

• Participates in assessing the feasibility of implementing innovations. Assesses data trends and develops reports and presentations.  

• Supports the initiation of new research by reviewing and synthesizing literature.

• Oversees inventory of supplies and equipment and places orders in a timely fashion.

• Assists in the preparation of scientific papers, reports, and manuscripts.  

• Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS                                                                                                         

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
