JOB DUTIES
Description
We are seeking to hire a Research Assistant with experience in molecular biology. Primary duties include: •Analyze skeletal muscle mitochondrial DNA mutations •Develop and characterize rodent models •Maintain inventory and lab supplies Salary range: $27.09-$43.58 Hourly
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications
Required: •At least 1 year of experience in PCR and DNA sequencing •Knowledge of mitochondrial biology and genetics •Skill in performing various DNA purifications and manipulations •Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel Preferred: •Bachelor of Science degree
