Job Summary | The Bowdoin College Library seeks a creative and collaborative Research and Instruction Librarian to join us as a liaison to academic departments, with emphasis on government and legal studies, history, and economics. Reporting to the Associate Librarian for Research, Instruction, and Outreach, the successful candidate will support the research and scholarship of students and faculty, collaborate with faculty on designing inclusive learning experiences and assignments, and engage students in a variety of ways in their learning about information and research. The Research and Instruction Librarian will help to build collections that support the Bowdoin College community and the efforts of the CBB Consortium (libraries at Colby, Bates, and Bowdoin Colleges). Standard Work Days and Hours | Generally between 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Mon-Fri, with occasional evening and weekend hours as needed.
