Position Summary/Purpose of Position: | Responsible for the executive, administrative, and supervisory functions involved in the implementation and evaluation of diverse, often concurrently run research studies; manages data and conducts analyses; prepares reports, conference proposals, and articles for journal publications; participates in research presentations at conferences; IRB applications and renewal; responds to requests both within the Center and beyond, for data-related information; maintains data-related bridges to other campus offices and programs, such as the Office of the Registrar and the Orientation Office. This position reports to the Director of the Research Unit. |

Additional Information: | About the University of Maryland Counseling Center Research Unit: The University of Maryland Counseling Center Research Unit produces a variety of research briefs, publishes articles in professional journals, and presents study findings at conferences and to the University campus community. Areas of Research include: Student development & retention; clinical service delivery; college students’ basic needs (food and housing security), academic success, and well-being; and multiculturalism, inclusiveness, & action research. |
