Job Summary
The laboratory of Dr. Chang-Guo Zhan is seeking a Research Analyst.
The Research Analyst will carry out in vivo studies on the potentially interesting drug candidates in rodents (mice and rats) in various animal models and analyze the data obtained.
They will assist with the preparation and in vitro evaluation of proteins or small-molecule compounds designed in Dr. Zhan’s lab as potentially interesting drug candidates (hits or leads or clinical candidates). The preparation of proteins will include site-directed mutagenesis, protein expression and purification, and characterization.
The Research Analyst will also maintain clean and organized research spaces, maintain reagent supply and chemical inventory, organize lab space, maintain safety documentation, manage chemical and hazardous waste; and perform regular maintenance and cleaning of critical lab equipment.
