Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Research Analyst for the School of Engineering – Center for Advanced Infrastructure and Transportation. This role involves developing and implementing 3D point cloud data segmentation models and methods to support bridge asset management.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
  • Develops and implements deep learning computer vision models, in particular for 3D point cloud segmentation.
  • Conducts literature reviews and write research report.

Qualifications


Minimum Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific field or discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience that demonstrates comprehensive knowledge and understanding of general research principles and practices.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant professional research experience.
Certifications/Licenses
Preferred Qualifications
  • A master or ph.d. degree in computer science or related field.
  • Experience with deep learning, computer vision, React, or WebGL.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and a strong team player.

Immunization Requirements


Under Policy 60.1.35 Immunization Policy for Rutgers Employees and Prospective Employees , Rutgers University requires all prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.
