Responsibilities*

This position involves a wide range of tasks including data management, programming, analysis, report building, and design. Specifically, the position involves providing independent and collaborative analytic support including:

1.    Work with team members, and end users to identify and understand clinical data collections needs, challenges and opportunities.

2.    Prepare data collection tools for collecting of data.

3.    Building reports, graphs, or dashboards for research with user-friendly data visualizations that are effective in increasing awareness among end-users and clinicians.

4.    Writing, testing, and implementing programs to clean, merge, and analyze and maintain large complex datasets.

5.    Preparing and maintaining technical documentation of data and analysis files.

6.    Maintain, clean, and organize datasets for statisticians.

7.    Collaborate with internal teams in the design, implementation, testing, and deployment of technical data collection and specifications.


Required Qualifications*

-        Minimum of a master's degree in computer science, health informatics, biostatistics/statistics, or relevant related field

-        At least 1 year of experience programming and managing data using SAS and python

-        Strong computer skills including MSWord, Excel, and PowerPoint

-        Ability to prioritize, organize, and efficiently work on multiple projects at the same time

--    Ability to assess technical problems and provide/program solutions accurately and efficiently

-        Flexibility and ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders

-        Excellent communication, both oral and written in the English language, and people skills are essential

-        Solid and demonstrable understanding of data types and structures

--     Ability to work effectively on teams and collaborate with external partners


Desired Qualifications*

-        Ability to craft complex SQL queries

-        Experience with Python tools (Jupyter Notebooks, Pandas, Numpy etc.)

-        Previous experience with building machine learning model

-        Healthcare IT and EHR knowledge

-        Experience with automated data pulls

-        Using agile methodologies to track work

Version control such as GIT, Bitbucket etc.

Background Screening
