The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Joe R. and Teresa Long School of Medicine at UT Health-San Antonio is seeking a board certified/active Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility clinician scientist to join the established REI practice and Division in the Joe R and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, active clinician-scientist with strong leadership qualities, communication and team building skills.

Candidates must have completed an accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency in a University Program, and an accredited Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.  Duties will primarily focus on the provision of clinical care of infertile couples. Additional expectations will include teaching of residents and fellows, and the ability to carry out independent laboratory or clinical research in Reproductive Medicine. Rank and tenure will be determined by experience and curriculum vitae.

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UT Health-San Antonio is an internationally recognized academic center in women's health and related research. The department currently holds 5 endowed chairs and is staffed by 50 clinicians/researchers, 9 advanced practice providers and trains 33 residents and currently has three accredited fellowships.

The Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility has been an ABOG approved fellowship since 1977, research efforts funded by the NIH, and a full-service clinical operation including an IVF program with clinical pregnancy rates that are above or on par with national rates. The UT Health San Antonio Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Division currently consists of four board certified reproductive endocrinologists, one PhD, an experienced staff, fellows and trainees and a full service high-complexity assisted reproductive technology laboratory. Our state-of-the-art facilities in San Antonio, Texas includes embryology, andrology, and endocrinology laboratories, procedure suites, ultrasound suites, EPIC electronic medical record, as well as satellite facilities. The successful candidate will be a key team-member in the development of patient centered care initiatives that will encompass all aspects of fertility care within the institution and spanning all points of patient contact.
