Summary of Duties:

Coordinate the operation of the Reinstatement Program within the Center for Advising and Career Development. The Reinstatement Coordinator position is responsible for providing specialized technical and clerical duties in support of the Reinstatement Program. Duties include, but are not limited to: organizing and managing the reinstatement application process; organizing activities for the Reinstatement Committee, Reinstatement Board, and academic advisors; compile statistical reports, respond to inquiries related to academic deficiency and the reinstatement process, and perform other duties as assigned. Exercise independent judgment in interpreting and applying the University’s Academic rules and regulations. Under general direction, independently advise students, faculty, and staff regarding program policies, procedures and activities.


Required Qualifications:

  • High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of experience in the program specialty OR equivalent education/experience.

  • Program Specialty: experience working with student/client/program records or equivalent education/experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Database programs such as ACCESS.

  • Knowledge of university computing systems such as AIS, RoNET, and MyWSU.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Monthly Salary: Range #38 | $3,096.00 - $4,013.00 | (Step A through L) Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28.
