Responsibilities

In this role, you will work under the general supervision of the Revenue Integrity Analyst Supervisor and will be responsible for coordinating copayment enrollment and claims assistance for all community practice therapeutics. In addition, the incumbent will provide patients with drug assistance program information and optimize reimbursement for cancer  and specialty therapies by ensuring that FDA guidelines and off-label compendia listings are properly observed for insurance reimbursement.

  JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  

Qualifications

Required:

• Working knowledge of insurance authorizations and verification process for major medical insurance plans
• Healthcare research and analysis skills sufficient to support drug coverage and reimbursement questions/issues
• Knowledge of medical office procedures, including general knowledge of oncology procedures and terminology
• Skill in adapting to, and implementing, frequently changing procedures
• Skill in writing concise, grammatically correct reports/correspondence
• Demonstrated ability to be punctual and maintain a satisfactory attendance record

Preferred:

• Knowledge of oncology CPT and ICD-10 codes
• Experience with CareConnect (EPIC) electronic health record system
