Summary

The Law School Office of Student Records is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented registration and certifications coordinator to join our team. The coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless and efficient registration and certification processes for our students. Working  closely with the assistant registrar for registration services and the assistant registrar for certifications and reporting, the incumbent  will support registration, enrollment, and bar certification,  from initial inquiries through processing and completing requests,  ensuring adherence to law school and university academic policies. The incumbent will work closely with various departments across the Law School and the University to coordinate registration efforts and deliver an outstanding student and alumni experience. This person will also serve as the front face of the office, triaging and directing requests as appropriate.

Responsibilities*

- Provide administrative support and excellent customer service related to registration, exams, bar certifications, and bar reporting as the outward face of the office, including fielding initial inquiries and providing information as appropriate
- Answer and route mail, email, and telephone calls as the first customer-facing staff member
- Manage and maintain databases, including those related to registration and bar certifications, ensuring timely and accurate record updates
- Communicate with stakeholders- including faculty, staff, and students-  regarding policies, procedures, and deadlines
- Collaborate with other team members to resolve complex issues and escalate matters when necessary
- Assist in the development and implementation of registration-related policies and procedures
- Monitor Office of Student Records webpage and request updates from the web team as necessary
- Other duties as assigned


Required Qualifications*

- Associate's degree plus two years of administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of experience
- Experience using software solutions to manage work assignments
- Demonstrated experience as an effective team member and ability to organize, update, and maintain accurate electronic records and files
- Demonstrated ability to use good judgment and discretion and maintain confidentiality
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Applications 
- Ability to prioritize among multiple simultaneous projects and meet strict deadlines


Desired Qualifications*

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, educational administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Prior higher education administration
- Proficiency in registration-specific software and database management systems
