Registrar Services Administrator
General Purpose: This positionâs primary focus is ensuring all registrar related services provide MICA students with exceptional support related to records, onboarding, veteran benefits, and academic services and programs.
Summary of Responsibilities: The Registrar Services Administrator supports Enrollment Services with work related to student onboarding, records and enrollment as well as a high level of support specifically centered around Veteran Benefits, as MICAâs designated School Certifying Official.Â
Registrar Services responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide direct support to students, current and prospective, and other key audiences as related to services provided through Enrollment ServicesÂ
Work in partnership with faculty and staff around academic records included but not limited to grades, transcripts, schedules and academic calendars
Execute tasks related to enrollment, registration, and student onboarding including maintaining accurate student records
Work in partnership with Financial Aid and Student Accounts to apply charges, aids and discounts and ensure student account accuracyÂ
Ensure all processes and communications are in compliance with FERPA regulations Â
Support for planning new education processes in partnership with third party vendors
Perform other related duties as assigned
Â
School Certifying Official responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Complete all required annual VA SCO training certifications to maintain active SCO statusÂ
Assist students with documentation, comprehensive resources and support related to receiving and maintaining benefitsÂ
Perform all VA benefit enrollment certification tasks in compliance of all federal policies and regulations issued by Veteran AffairsÂ
Work in collaboration with Financial Aid to ensure all financial aid being reported is accurate and up to date as related to their enrollment status
Inform State Approving Agency (SAA) of new programs or changes in programs
Lead, organize, provide on site support and supply all required documents for compliance visits/audits from Education Liaison Representatives
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to work independently
Customer service centered approach to communication and working with the public
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks while staying organized
Ability to maintain civil demeanor and professionalismÂ
Data entry and management skills with attention to detail
Experience using Microsoft Office and Google Drive

Minimum qualifications:
â   High School diploma/equivalent
â   Demonstrated at least 3 years of office experience

Preferred qualifications:
Prior SCO/Experience with Veteran Benefits Processing
Prior experience with student enrollment and records
Experience with PeopleSoft
Experience with AsanaÂ
Bachelorâs DegreeÂ
