WHAT YOU'LL DO IN THIS POSITION
The Registrar Assistant provides support to the law school registrar and helps with special projects for the larger law school community. Some of the responsibilities of this role are:

  • Administer and track Law School externships
  • Track statistical reports on state bar passage, grades, and course enrollment reports
  • Create and update student files, including collection and processing of grades
  • Process state bar verification forms
  • Assist with graduation events
  • Coordinate Continuing Legal Education programs, including state bar approvals, certificates, event attendance, and submissions
  • Assist with administration of law school final exams
  • Assist with special projects and events outside the registrar's office


WHAT QUALIFIES YOU FOR THIS ROLE?
Minimum:  Bachelor's degree OR minimum of three years of office experience.
 

Preferred:  Bachelor's degree AND two to four years of office experience.  
 
SKILLS, CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, ETC.
Required:

  • Work independently and consistently with minimal direction 
  • Proficient computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations 
  • Consistently and proactively demonstrate initiative and good judgment in daily operations 
  • Be able to give close attention to detail with high degree of accuracy and confidentiality
  • Good organization/time management skills 
  • Prioritize and monitor multiple tasks 

Preferred:

  • Type 60 WPM

Approximate Starting Salary: $17.75 - $22.50/hour
