Harborview Medical Center has an outstanding opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our 9NJB Specialty Clinics - Urology, General Surgery, Rehabilitation Medicine, Chest, Thoracic Surgery, Medical Operative Consult, Neurology, Palliative Care, and Hematology/Oncology.

WORK SCHEDULE:
•     Full-time, 100% FTE, 40 hours per week
•     8 hr shifts M-F

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
The 9NJB Specialty Clinics is a multi-specialty outpatient clinic that serves our Harborview Mission population. With both medical and surgical specialties co-located in a shared clinic space, clinic staff work within a muti-disciplinary team consisting, but not limited to, attending and resident providers, APPs, pharmacists,  social workers, and respiratory therapy. The patients served by our specialty services range from individuals seeking one-time consults to those needing long term complex case management.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will primarily serve the following clinics: Chest, General Surgery, Hematology/Oncology, Palliative Care and Urology. The RN’s roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to: preoperative teaching, wound care, catheter care, assisting MDs with in-clinic procedures, telephone triage, care coordinating and patient education.

REQUIREMENTS:
•     Active, valid Washington State or Multi-State RN license required by start date.
•     Two years of professional nursing experience.
•     Experience with one or more of the following: Outpatient Care in an Ambulatory setting, Urgent Care, Inpatient experience.
