Harborview Medical Center’s (HMC) Psychiatry - Behavior Health Institute has an outstanding opportunity for a 50% FTE (20 hours per week), Day Shift, RN STEP & Behavioral Health Nurse Care Manager (RN2) position.

Harborview Medical Center is seeking a skilled nurse for the position of outpatient RN Care Manager for the STEP program. The STEP Program offers comprehensive care for individuals and their families who are experiencing a first episode of psychosis. Care is provided in a behavioral health clinic setting.

The STEP Nurse Care Manager provides skilled nursing services to patients and their significant support systems.  Assessment, intake/admission, evaluation, triage, teaching, medication monitoring of patients in office based First Episode of Psychosis treatment program.  Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members and outside referral sites, works with providers on unstable patients, with primary care providers in assisting patients and supporting their referral needs.

SCHEDULE:
50% FTE (20 hours per week), Day shift

LOCATION:
Harborview Medical Center Campus- Seattle, First Hill

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Current Washington State Registered Nurse license.
Current BLS certification in CPR.

DESIRED:
Certification in related specialty areas.
Experience with First Episode Psychosis (FEP) programs.
Two years of recent clinical experience as an RN working in a behavioral health or clinic/outpatient setting.
Previous care management experience.
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of information technology.
