Job Summary

The RN functions as a member of the interdisciplinary team caring for patients who are undergoing procedures or exams in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at any Radiology site. The RN carries out established nursing procedures to prepare patients prior to Radiologic procedures, during the procedure, and following the procedure. The RN assists with the management of patient care during moderate sedation and anesthesia cases.

Required Qualifications

  • At least three (3) years clinical RN experience
  • Recent three (3) to five (5) years experience in either ICU, ED, PACU, or procedural area
  • Active Registered Nurse licensure in the State of California
  • Active American Heart Association CPR Certification
  • Active American Heart Association ACLS Certification
  • Active American Heart Association PALS Certification
  • The ability to wear lead apron required in Interventional Radiology and Neuro Interventional Radiology
  • Moderate Sedation competency required in Interventional Radiology and Neuro Interventional Radiology

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in Radiology Imaging Nursing

License/Certification

  • Active Registered Nurse licensure in the State of California
  • Active American Heart Association CPR Certification
  • Active American Heart Association ACLS Certification
  • Active American Heart Association PALS Certification
