Job Summary
The RN functions as a member of the interdisciplinary team caring for patients who are undergoing procedures or exams in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging. The RN carries out established nursing procedures to prepare patients prior to Radiologic procedures, during the procedure or exam, and following the procedure during recovery. The RN assists with the management of patient care during moderate sedation and support anesthesia cases. The RN assists in the care of patients of all ages, including pediatrics. The RN will be flexible to work at all UCSF Medical Center sites and demonstrate flexibility in variable work hours.

Please note: An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role.
For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.

Required Qualifications
- Two (2) to three (3) years of recent RN experience in Radiology
- Active Registered Nurse licensure in the State of California
- Active American Heart Association CPR Certification
- Active American Heart Association ACLS Certification
- Active American Heart Association PALS Certification
- Ability to wear lead apron required in Interventional Radiology and Neuro Interventional Radiology
- Moderate Sedation competency required in Interventional Radiology and Neuro Interventional Radiology
- The flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Health locations
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Radiology Imaging Nursing
- Pediatric experience
License/Certification
- Active Registered Nurse licensure in the State of California
- Active American Heart Association CPR Certification
- Active American Heart Association ACLS Certification
- Active American Heart Association PALS Certification
