Job Description

The Regional Ecosystem Project Manager supporting Rio Grande Valley Advanced Manufacturing /Training Innovation Hub. Primary responsibility for the McAllen area. Manages project activities including developing, implementing, and tracking timelines and deliverables. Coordinates project resources in conjunction with resource holders and other project managers. Establishes goals for project delivery. Assists the Director in preparation and execution of operational plans to improve education and employment opportunities across the RGV in the Advanced Manufacturing domain. Coordinates logistics activities supporting meetings and community events.

This position will be headquartered in Rio Grande Valley, TX.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Regional Ecosystem Director in establishment of partnerships with RGV government, industry, education and community entities.
  • Under the supervision of the Regional Ecosystem Director, prepares project plans. Manages project quality control and assurance.
  • Under the supervision of the Regional Ecosystem Director, supports execution of the marketing plan.
  • Coordinates project resources in conjunction with the Regional Ecosystem Director.
  • Interfaces with RGV educational institutions to facilitate coordination and non-duplication of effort.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Experience:

  • Five years of related experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Formal training or Project Management Certification is desired.  
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing industry is desired.
  • Excellent communicator with experience speaking to large groups.
  • Fluent in the Spanish Language.
