The Regional Ecosystem Manager of the Rio Grande Valley (RGV) Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Hub (RAMI), responsible for assisting in execution of workforce development, manufacturing innovation and community relations activities in the RGV. Prepares, directs, and executes operational plans to improve education and employment opportunities across the RGV in the Advanced Manufacturing domain. Senior RAMI representative in the RGV. Assists the program manager in development of developing strategy. Interfaces with local government and educational leaders to further the goals of the program. Coordinates logistics activities supporting meetings and community events.
This position will be headquartered in Rio Grande Valley, Texas.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the effort in establishment of partnerships with RGV government, industry, education and community entities to leverage existing programs and activities.
- Plans, organizes, and supervises the work of other staff members. Evaluates progress and makes recommendations to the program manager.
- Identifies, proposes and leads new strategies/initiatives Creates and maintains local partnerships and program support through relationship building activities.
- Coordinates with the program manager in the execution of the marketing plan. Interfaces with the public relations firm as required.
- Conducts meetings with stakeholders to schedule and coordinate project activities.
- Coordinates project resources in conjunction with the program manager.
- Interfaces with RGV educational institutions to facilitate coordination and non-duplication of effort.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Education:
- Ph D. degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Experience:
- Sixteen years of related experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of the manufacturing industry is desired.
- Excellent communicator with experience speaking to large groups.
- Exceptional community building and relationship skills.
- Fluent in the Spanish language.
