Position Description


Advertised Job Summary
The hired candidate will coordinate lab operations of the Early Social Development Lab in the department of Psychology. Responsibilities will include: participant recruitment, family outreach, dissemination of research opportunities, programming for lab and community events, meeting with community partners, scheduling study visits, and monitoring study enrollment and retention.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelors degree in Psychology, Social Work, Public Health, Communications, or related field by the start date of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Outgoing and comfortable speaking to individuals on the phone, in-person, and on video chat.

Creating advertisements, Screening and managing program referrals, discussing research studies with families, determining participant eligibility. Maintaining participant confidentiality and explaining aims, responsibilities and liability to all participants. Responding to all participant queries as needed in a prompt manner.
