Position Description:
Under the general supervision of the Chief of Staff / Executive Director of Recruiting and the Director of Player Personnel, Recruiting Analyst provides analytical information regarding all aspects of prospective student-athlete performance. The Recruiting Analyst will oversee all aspects of scouting and recruiting from an internal perspective. Candidate must have ability and in-depth knowledge of player personnel to:
- Assist in coordination, operation and planning of all unofficial and official visits.
- Research and compile strategic information on high school prospects, this includes pertinent academic information, athletic evaluations, measurements, test scores and character evaluations.
- Assist the coaching staff on recruiting strategies tailored for the individual prospect.
- Self-Scout UCLA schemes and game plans to see areas of greatest personnel need
- Study and generate personnel reports relative to other offensive personnel in College football and the NFL, with information garnered from reports- identify areas of focus for recruiting efforts to match offensive scheme and need
- Complete daily office tasks
- Create and maintain all personnel scouting evaluations
- Create and maintain all coaches' scouting evaluation books
Candidate will also be involved in developing, promoting and supporting the operational and strategic aspects of the Football Program. Employee will work directly with the Head Football Coach, Coaching Staff, Director of Player Personnel and DIA Compliance and Recruiting.
Special Instructions:
This is a contract, full-time position with full health benefits and membership in the UC Retirement Plan.
The budgeted hiring salary/target range for this position is the posted minimum to $4333.33 monthly ($52,000 annually), with salary placement based on skills, knowledge, and experience.
