What You Will Do


Help find and attract outstanding talent for one of the world’s most innovative and creative multidisciplinary research institutions.  Los Alamos National Laboratory is looking for an entry-level talent acquisition professional to collaborate with Recruiters and hiring managers in the search of the best and brightest talent on the planet.

What You Need


Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Recruitment Collaboration and Team Work: Experience effectively working with applicants, Recruiters, and/or hiring managers

  • Candidate Sourcing: Knowledge of recruiting strategies and/or tools used to network, source, screen, and/or qualify candidates for a variety of positions

  • Requisition Management: Experience working with recruiting requisitions, including job postings, dispositioning of candidates, working with hiring documents, and/or justifications for selection and non-selection

  • Diversity and Inclusion: Knowledge of diversity and inclusion principles and/or strategies as they relate to talent acquisition

Desired Skills  

  • STEM: Experience recruiting for science, engineering, and other STEM fields preferred

Education Required: Position typically requires a minimum of 2 years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Clearance:  Q (Position will be cleared to this level).  Applicants selected will be subject to a Federal background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements* for access to classified matter.

*Eligibility requirements:  To obtain a clearance, an individual must be at least 18 years of age; U.S. citizenship is required except in very limited circumstances. See DOE Order 472.2 for additional information.


New-Employment Drug Test: The Laboratory requires successful applicants to complete a new-employment drug test and maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing.


Regular position: Term status Laboratory employees applying for regular-status positions are converted to regular status.
