Receptionist/Registration Technician

The Receptionist/Registration Technician will be interacting either in person or by phone with students, staff, faculty, and the public at the front desk of the Kuskokwim Campus (KuC), College of Rural and Community Development (CRCD), University of Alaska Fairbanks. KuC is situated in Bethel, Alaska, 70 miles from the mouth of the Kuskokwim River on the Bering Sea.

The candidate must be reliable and enthusiastic in customer service. Skilled at problem-solving, able to multitask, and have knowledge of various software applications. A strong attention to detail is a must. Experience living and working in rural Alaska or working with diverse populations is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School graduation and two years of office/administrative experience, or an equivalent
combination of training and experience.

Position Details:

This position is located on the Kuskokwim campus in Bethel. This is a full-time, term funded, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package . New hires will be placed on the UA staff salary schedule , Grade 76, based on education and experience.
