Summary of Duties:

Range Community Clinic (RCC) is in the process of building several different clinics to increase access to healthcare for Washingtonians. In partnership with the Health Sciences Colleges of WSU, (College of Medicine, College of Nursing, College of Pharmacy), RCC is looking for an experienced Clinic Manager to help us build, expand, and maintain a broad range of clinics and clinical services.

The Clinic Practice Manager will assist in the development and administration of the various health clinics under the auspices of the Range Community Clinic. These clinics will vary in type and scope, but will include Community Outreach Clinics, Mobile Clinics, and traditional outpatient clinics. Duties will include, but are not limited to: managing staff, operations, budgets, staff/clinician scheduling, patient access and scheduling, EMR and related interface programs, lab coordination, referrals, and patient/physician/staff satisfaction.


Required Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in a field related to the functional managerial area which has included at least one (1) year of supervisory experience. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience and facility with computer systems: EMR/EHR systems, Microsoft Products including Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience with budgets and grant management.
  • Must be able to do some travel to other clinic sites within the state of WA.
  • Administrative experience.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AthenaHealth EHR.
  • Experience with scheduling and accounting software.
  • Diversity/Equity/Inclusion training.
  • Experience with state and government regulations pertaining to fiscal management.
  • Experience working with grants and/or contracts.
  • Related experience at WSU or other higher education institution.
  • Experience with short and long-term planning.
  • Experience with Washington State University, or other university, budget, accounting and personnel systems.
