Position Description:

Breast Imaging Faculty Position - Department of Radiology  

 The Breast Imaging Section of the Department of Radiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible radiologist, who has successfully completed a Breast Imaging Fellowship program, and is eligible for medical licensure in Wisconsin.

  • Passion for providing high-quality patient care with proficiency in all breast imaging services (mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and all interventional breast procedures).  

  • Interest in actively participating in scholarly activities which could include education, quality, and/or research.

  • The Department of Radiology is recognized as a progressive and forward-thinking team that continues to expand with a dynamic multi-site hospital and clinic network in the Milwaukee metropolitan area. MCW Radiology offers a hybrid model allowing faculty to read and work in both the academic and community settings.  

  • The Breast Imaging Section includes 12 fellowship-trained faculty who practice within a multidisciplinary Breast Care Center as well as community-based hospitals and free-standing imaging centers.  

  • The Department of Radiology provides post-graduate fellowships (including a one-year Breast Imaging fellowship), a diagnostic radiology residency program, and medical student elective clinical rotations. 


  • We have a primary Breast Care Center as well as multiple community hospitals and clinics which provide services including digital mammography units with Hologic digital tomosynthesis, Affirm upright and prone biopsy technology, 3T breast MRI including Abbreviated Breast MRI, Automated Breast Ultrasound System, and wireless localization.  

  • Collaboration is the foundation for how we work within our department and with others across the organization.  Our Radiology team includes 90 clinical faculty radiologists, 11 imaging science faculty, 15 instructor/fellows, 45 residents, 15 advanced practice providers, and 69 support staff.
