Overview
The Rutgers Division of Intercollegiate Athletics sponsors 24 intercollegiate sports, comprised of 14 women’s and 10 men’s programs, that compete at the Division I level. The Scarlet Knights are members of the prestigious Big Ten Conference, the nation’s premier academic and athletic conference, after officially joining the league on July 1, 2014. Known as “The Birthplace of College Football, Rutgers hosted Princeton on Nov. 6, 1869 in the first intercollegiate football game, with RU earning a 6-4 victory. 
Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Quality Control – Player Development for Rutgers Football. The position oversees the character development of the football team in concert with the Head Football Coach and within the rules of the NCAA and Rutgers University. 
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
  • Opponent Film Breakdown.
  • Distribution/Creation of scouting reports, gamebooks, and data.
  • Self Scouting film breakdown and analysis.
  • Teach basic life skills.
  • Teach time management. 
  • Teach goal setting.

COVID-19 Immunization Requirement
Rutgers University requires all new employees to provide proof that they are fully vaccinated and have received a booster (where eligible) against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the employee a medical or religious exemption. Employees who are not eligible for a booster at the time of an offer of employment provide proof they have received a booster upon eligibility and upload proof of same. Based on current guidance, individuals are considered fully vaccinated against COVID-19 two weeks after receiving the final dose of a vaccine approved or authorized for emergency use in the United States or a vaccine that has been listed for emergency use by the World Health Organization. Failure to provide proof of primary vaccination and booster will result in rescission of a candidate’s offer of employment or disciplinary action up to and including termination.

Minimum Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. 
  • One to two years college level experience in coaching and/or administrative responsibilities in the sport of football.  
Certifications/Licenses
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of the BIG TEN Football Conference and NCAA rules and regulations 
  • Computer literate 
  • Use of personal vehicle in order to travel for business demands; a valid driver’s license would be required for this position.
