The Analytical Development (AD) / Quality Control (QC) team at the Center for Bioinnovation and Manufacturing (CBM) seeks an AD/Quality Control Associate III (QCA III) to support in-process and release testing for GMP Manufacturing and gene and cellular immunotherapy products. This fast-paced lab uses cutting-edge technology for clinical immunotherapeutic programs, including cell viability, Flow Cytometry, ELISA, qPCR, ddPCR, potency, and cytotoxicity assays. The QCA III will be trained on assay qualification and project-specific techniques to support various QC activities.

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Apply aseptic techniques and follow established SOPs in a cGMP facility.
  • Perform in-house assays to release products like viral vectors, plasmid DNA, and recombinant proteins.
  • Maintain accurate inventory, support routine lab activities, and handle data entry and reporting.
  • Develop and adapt analytical methodologies, process control plans, and new manufacturing procedures.
  • Ensure equipment quality control, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot lab instruments.
  • Cooperate with QC and QA for cGMP compliance, complete required training, and support performance improvement.

Your qualifications should include:

  • Bachelor's or Master's in biological sciences with 6-8 years (post-Bachelor's) or 5-8 years (post-Master's) lab experience.
  • Expertise in molecular and cellular biology, biochemistry, and relevant laboratory techniques; cGMP product release testing experience desirable.
  • Experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, including assay development, cell viability, vector titer, flow cytometry, ELISA, RT-PCR, potency, and cytotoxicity assays.
