Position Description:
Work Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday
Work Location: Sports Medicine Clinic, Dunnavant Valley

To evaluate, plan, and provide physical therapy services as prescribed by the referring physician and as evidenced by the patient's needs. To complete patient-related documentation, ensuring content and timeliness to meet all professional requirements and legal/regulatory specifications. To evaluate and develop plan of care for Physical Therapy Assistants, according to APTA guidelines. To train and orient new department staff and participate in the clinical training and supervision of assigned students and interns.


Position Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Graduate from an accredited School of Physical Therapy required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.

LICENSE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR REGISTRATION:
Currently registered as a Registered Physical Therapist (PT) or (RPT) by the State of Alabama Board of Physical Therapy required. Currently certified with Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required.
