Position Function | Under direction of supervision, perform duties in achieving excellence in customer satisfaction, food quality, service of food, efficiency and productivity, and compliance with safety and sanitation standards, HACCP standards, Indiana Food Service Code regulations, and rules, policies and procedures of Ball State University. |
Minimum Education | 1.High School diploma or equivalent (GED) and successful completion of Cashier Training Class and passing score on final test is required for positions with cashiering duties. All other University Food Court Worker positions require successful completion of the eighth grade. |
Minimum Experience | 1.No allergies to soaps, cleaning agents, oven cleaners, or other materials or environmental factors in food service, e.g., steam, dust, etc. 2.Must have clean body, teeth, hair, nails, and clothing. 3.Must be able to perform all physical and mental requirements outlined in each job duty/responsibility. 4.Must be able to read and comprehend all specified policies and procedures for safety, hazardous materials information, and University policies, procedures, and communications. 5.You must be 18 years or older. |
