Job Description Summary:
The University of Kansas Alzheimer’s Disease Center (KUADC) is a National Institute of Aging P30-designated national leader in AD research with the vision to impact the lives of every patient and family dealing with Alzheimer’s in the region and across the state of Kansas through our research, education, and clinical care. We are a comprehensive center at the forefront of clinical trials, lifestyle intervention trials, drug and translational research, and basic science research. Our research enables us to also provide leading edge clinical care and support for dementia caregivers. In addition, we provide a wide variety of both public education and training opportunities for the workforce of tomorrow.
Psychometrist will administer and score cognitive measures to study participants in the Alzheimer’s Disease Center (ADC) who have mild cognitive impairment, mild to moderate Alzheimer’s disease, or who have no memory impairment.
Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:
•    Administer and score cognitive measures to study participants in the Alzheimer’s Disease Center (ADC) who have no memory impairment, mild cognitive impairment, or mild to moderate Alzheimer’s disease
•    Enter cognitive data into electronic database
•    Other duties as assigned  

Required Qualifications:
•    Bachelor's degree, preferably in psychology, basic science or health related field
•    Experience may substitute for degree on a year for year basis
•    Good interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, time-management skills, strong work ethic, self-motivated, willing to learn
•    Computer skills: MS Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:
•    Bi-lingual in English and Spanish
•    Prior health care and/or research experience
•    Prior experience administering cognitive assessments or psychology background
•    Excellent communication, writing, organizational skills
•    Ability to interact with multidisciplinary teams including patients, families, physicians, and administrative staff
•    Familiarity with electronic medical records and databases
