Responsibilities

The Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior is seeking to hire a part-time Psychometrist to join the Memory Care Program (MC) and Brain Boot Camp (BBC) at the UCLA Longevity Center. Primary duties include:

  • Conducting brief phone intakes for new potential BBC/MC participants
  • Training approximately 2 BBC/MC participants per week
  • Assisting MC Director with orientation and training of new incoming memory trainers (graduate students, volunteers, etc.)
  • Assist in facilitating Memory trainers weekly meetings
  • Other administrative duties as assigned


  • JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

Bachelors’ degree in Psychology or related field
MA or PhD in Psychology or related field (highly preferred)
Minimum 1 year of graduate school training in the field of geropsychology (preferred)
Minimum 1 year of NP practicum training and/or 1 year of cognitive rehab work (preferred)
Minimum 1 year of practicing therapy with older adults (preferred)
