Psychology, Dept of Pediatrics- Open Rank Faculty - 240000006W
Full-time, non-tenure track, clinician-educator faculty position. Academic rank at the time of appointment shall be commensurate with experience and credentials. The primary role will be as a Psychologist in Department of Pediatrics. The successful applicant will have clinical, educational, research and community service duties within this role that are defined through agreement with the Chair of the Department of Pediatrics. Primary supervisory responsibilities include General expectations of the appointment are proposed as follows: Basic Qualifications: Requires an PhD or equivalent degree. The applicant should be licensed or license-eligible in Tennessee as a Psychologist, Health Service Provider and will be expected to be board-certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology after eligibility. Departmental Preferences: Experience and skill in psychological assessment and consultation required. Experience in a hospital setting required. Skills and experience required in developmental assessment (including for autism spectrum disorder), for children across a wide age range. Skills and experience required in working with children and adolescents with complex and chronic medical conditions.
