Required Degree: MS required. PhD preferred in psychology or a related field. The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience: The Department of Psychology, Brigham Young University, invites applicants of any academic rank to fill part-time positions in the Psychology Department to begin Spring Term 2024, teaching in person. The selected candidate will show commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and mentoring. Duties/Expectations: The instructor of Psych 390R, Human Agency, is tasked with exploring the intricate subject of human agency from its philosophical origins to its critical role in psychology, drawing on their extensive research and publications in the field. They will engage students in rigorous analysis and discussion, highlighting agency's alignment with the values of the sponsoring Church and the broader mission of BYU. This in-person course requires an adept educator capable of weaving historical insights with contemporary relevance, fostering a deep understanding of what it means to be human.
