Position Description:
Work Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
Work Location: Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) Clinic, Center for Psychiatric Medicine

Fellow will conduct inpatient and outpatient clinical intakes and apply an evidence-based standardized treatment intervention to patients diagnosed with somatic and functional disorders across the lifespan throughout UAB’s Health System.


Position Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required: Doctoral degree (PhD, PsyD) or higher in clinical psychology or a related field. This position is intended to be one (1) year in length in order to satisfy the one (1) year work requirement to be fully licensed/certified as a Psychologist in the state of Alabama.

Preferred: Demonstrated understanding, experience, and application with cognitive behavioral therapy.

LICENSE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR REGISTRATION:

Preferred: Licensure or scheduled to sit for EPPP within the next 3 months.
