Position Details
General Statement | The Psychologist Embedded in Athletics is a member of the Athletics Student Services team as well as a staff member of MSU Counseling and Psychological Services (CPS). This position will have dual oversight/supervision by both CPS and Athletics. The Psychologist Embedded in Athletics will follow NCAA Mental health Best Practices Guidelines and be licensed as a psychologist in the state of Montana. They also must have experience providing direct mental health counseling services. They will be housed within Athletics and work directly with the student-athlete population and MSU Athletics Department Coaches, Administration and Staff. |

Duties and Responsibilities |
Coordination with CPS:
Must maintain annual continued education credits in the field of sport and performance psychology, as well as other CE requirements for clinical licensure. |
