Summary

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences are seeking a Psychologist who will work under the Community Psychiatry Workforce Expansion (CPWE) which supports the programming related to the Texas Child Health Access Through Telemedicine (TCHATT) program.


Job Duties
  • Collaborates with leadership in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences
  • Engages in scholarly work related to medical education and psychology, including research, educational program evaluation, and dissemination of findings through publications and presentations.
  • Contributes to the advancement of knowledge in the field of psychology, psychiatry and behavioral sciences through research and collaboration with colleagues.
  • Demonstrates clinical excellence and serves as a role model for learners in clinical settings.
  • Stays current with advancements in psychology and medical education by attending conferences, workshops, and continuing education activities.
  • Seeks opportunities for professional growth and skill development.
  • Provides guidance and support for assessments, evaluations, and feedback mechanisms at the learner and program levels.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. from APA (or equivalent) accredited program.
  • Experience in psychology education, preferably with experience overseeing graduate student learning.
  • Licensed or license eligible in state of Texas.
