Full Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

Under the supervision and direction of the hiring manager, the Student Assistant assists with general administration/operational support. 

  • Adhere to University Student Employment policies and SONHP student employee confidentiality agreement. 
  • Assists with scanning, double checking, and filing/uploading student records electronically.
  • Completes duplicating, scanning, and printing jobs as requested.
  • Assist with word processing, data entry, and ad hoc projects as assigned.
  • Assist with reorganizing department supplies and materials.
  • Makes campus deliveries.
  • Assists with PsyD events.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Adherence to office attendance standards: Being on time, on task, and on schedule.
  • Responsible and reliable; demonstrate ability to complete projects in a timely fashion with appropriate follow-up and status updates.
  • Demonstrated record of respectful and professional written and oral communication skills. 
  • Need to possesses excellent work ethic and follows-through with demonstrated potential to complete administrative tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Detail oriented, professional, reliable, and mature.
  • Ability to manage confidential information and adhere to university privacy policies.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Proficiency with PC and Mac systems and software/applications including Microsoft Office (including mail merge), PDF, & Google Docs.
  • Ability to stay focused on large and possibly routine tasks.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Non-SONHP students due to conflict of interest.
  • 1 year commitment to PsyD.
  • Previous administration/office work experience/employment a plus.
